2024-05-06 02:34:07 +0000 UTCIn syllabic script there is indeed no "L" in Japanese. However because there are dialects of Japanese - you will meet people who use L. But then they won't use "R". And vice versa. So for Japanese using either isn't that big of a problem. Using both and differentiating between them is.
