Yeah, he hasn’t really lost any fights outright; but he’s definitely gotten his ass beat all up and down the sidewalk before it ends lol. I loved Hitsugaya in the SS arc, and he was my favorite captain and his zanpakutou was my favorite too. I won’t lie, it kind of made me disregard him and lose interest in his abilities and stuff. I remember being kind of disappointed with his performance and how underwhelming his sword seemed I have to remind myself though, he’s still very very young and (I think?) probably has the least amount of combat experience amongst the captains in the Gotei 13. And I think that one arrancar Shaolong Qufang or whatever his name was at the beginning of this arc mentioning his bankai was still immature. Which I guess he could have been making that statement because of gentei kaijo and assuming that he was at full strength. Someone else might have said it too. Aizen? I don’t remember. I fully understand what he means though lol

That’s exactly why I said he’s been taking Ls a lot recently, he’s been getting pushed around by opponents that he should be mopping the floor with and moving on lol he was bleeding against a mr. Tentacle man who wasn’t even a proper espada

Yo neel I think u forgot the stuff hitsugaya did. He was pushing down gin in the soul society arc, he defeated luppy the former espada 6 and now he defeated espada 3 while being heavily injured trying to protect the others. The only loss I remember him taking was against aizen in soul society arc, which is understandable cuz it is aizen.All that without the full training they were meant to have, remember the battle was supposedly on winter but they attacked early. Nothing but respect to toshiro

Idk so like as a decades old weeb I’ve always thought about in the bleachverse what I’d want my powers to be. I’m into science and biology and medicine, and I’ve always been partial to water and ice so I decided as a shinigami my zanpakutou would have some kind of liquid-based corrosive property to it. I named it 黒雨 (black rain) and made its awakening command 沸け(boil) Probably wouldn’t be a particularly skilled martial warrior though. I’d be better with kidō and probably would use it in conjunction with the shikai. Its bankai’d probably be some extension of that, the liquid would evaporate and maybe become neuro- or hemotoxic. As an arrancar though… I haven’t really thought about what sort of naturally affined animal-quality I would have. Maybe something with quills. Eh

Gran Rey Cero is a Cero of Espada mixed with their blood, not just normal one. As for the release... well, I have nothing xD As for Espada numbering... well, it's still a debate in community even in those days. As far as we know, numbers of Espada are based on amount of Reiatsu alone - so while Yammy has the biggest amount of it, he is infinetely inferior to someone like Starrk or Ulquiorra in terms of control of it.

The espada numbers are based off their reiatsu, not their fighting abililty. Which espada is really strongest is open to interpretation. Kubo didnt want the scaling to be like dbz so he made it vague and open to interpretation

As I said the top 4 have been in question for years. Just based off what we see, what we are told just doesn't line up for many.

They can shoot the regular cero. Not their special one like Grand Rey Cero from Grimmjow, or Cero Oscuras from Ulquiorra.
