2022-05-23 02:47:52 +0000 UTCThe "captain level" thing is something that gets lost in translation. In japanese, Captain is "taichou". Assistant Captain is "fuku-taichou." In Japanese when they say "captain class", they say "taichou-kaku", referring to EVERYONE who is at the "taichou" level. The assistant captains (fuku taichou) are counted as well. However, most English translations opted for "lieutenant" instead of "assistant captain" which confuses a lot of people. TLDR, lieutenants (fuku taichou) are not at the level of a Captain (taichou)
