By the way, something different between the anime and the manga, in the anime, when the light first comes in after Rukia blows the wall open and hits "Kaien", the light hits him, and then he dodges, but in the manga, the order of the panels specifically shows Espada No. 9 noticing the wall collapsing, then seeing the light coming in, and THEN dodging to that upper platform BEFORE the light can hit him. It's an undeniably clear Faster Than Light speed feat. I'm rather irritated by the anime failing to convey that correctly as it is in the manga, because it wasn't even a sonido high-speed movement he used to get out of the way of the light, he just jumped. It's a CASUAL faster than light speed feat, that is often missed by power scalers who have only seen the anime, and not read the manga, and as such, the inaccuracies of the anime itself then contribute to people thinking Bleach characters are weak.

The comedy is definitely one of the most disliked parts of this arc, cause it can often undercut the seriousness of the situation. Clearly because it's an anime adaption and a old long runner they'd stretch these scenes out. The manga has it but just not as long therefore not as much of a negative in comparison to the anime, definitely understandable why u didn't like that aspect.

I also like Pesche's comedy at least. Not Dondochaka's. I used to love Ussop's comedy too until the formula got... repetitive. Some people from the get go don't like these waste of time during battle comedy.

You had issue with Pesche's comedy during the fight. I have same issues with One Piece actually. That's the one reason I lost interest in the show after watching 100s of episodes. I think you should prepare yourself for that kind of thing. It's about clicking with the comedy and hope you like the humour in that show, unlike me. 😪 PS: I used to like the comedy but grew out of it.

Ngl when Pesche, dondochakka, and nel got added, I was annoyed but Pesche at least became one of my favorites in bleach, no lie. Love that guy. But yeah you’ll be surprised. And as for chad’s move, el brazo derecho gigante means giant right arm in literal translation. Brazo izquierdo del diablo means left arm of the devil. La muerte means the death.
