2021-12-02 22:51:28 +0000 UTCAgreed, for those who can't understand Japanese but choose to watch it that way I always recommend either re-watching it more than once or stopping so nothing is missed. As for why that happens, to my knowledge there is not a confirmed answer as to why it affects his jutsu in that way. Considering he already has 2 different ways to avoid getting hit by most damage I really don't see the need to simply negate that one ability.

2021-12-02 22:03:20 +0000 UTCNever be afraid to pause and rewind if you miss any subtitles, since your viewers insist on you reacting to the sub rather than dub I think it's the least you're owed. One bit of dialog you might have missed in this episode that is pretty important is Obito noting that becoming the 10 Tails Jinchuruki has made him unable to pass through things with his MS any more. I don't know if it's ever explained why this happens, but it means he can no longer fight the way he's used to.
