You are wrong. Mangekyo Sharingan an is not something you teach someone. You unlocking by killing your best friend or in that case a family member. Even if Sauke hated Itachi that doesn't change the fact that Itachi was his brother. That's how he unlocked Mangekyo Sharingan by killing his brother. Or a part left of his family.

2021-06-20 08:43:53 +0000 UTCWatching these episodes the first time, I didn't understand Itachi's story too well, but rewatching it I picked up more details, and his story reminds me of another anime in particular. Won't reveal the anime to avoid any potential spoilers. But one thing I did notice from these episodes, which I think is ok to comment on, is each time Sasuke asked Itachi for help learning a jutsu, or using shuriken, or ninja techniques/tools, Itachi had Sasuke walk over to him and he put his fingers on his forehead and said 'Sorry Sasuke, another time.' And during Itachi's death, he put his fingers to Sasuke's forehead, and after all those times, he finally taught him the Mangekyo Sharingan, with his last words to him being 'Sorry Sasuke, this is it' - the one time Itachi taught Sasuke.
