I was toying with the idea of having Ben accidentally reveal he’s a Parselmouth, like Harry does. This could really mess things up for him, especially with Dumbledore, who’d probably start suspecting the worst. Plus, Rita Skeeter would have a field day with it in the Daily Prophet.
On the plus side, it could finally give Ben the excuse to solve the Daily Prophet problem.
I know some might think it makes him look careless or a bit dumb, but honestly, it kinda makes sense. Even Harry doesn't often realise when he switches to speaking Parseltongue.
What do you think? Does it work, or would it feel forced and a bit dull?

Forced but you made a point when you say they might talk sneke without realising. I'm French but even my thought are a mix of french and english at this point with how much I interact with people writing in english on internet (+novel, manga, series, film, games....).
