Update! Please read!

So, after some thought and everyone's thoughts, Aeria and I have come to a decision about Lavender County and we're pretty happy with it.

Moving forward, Lavender County will update bi-monthly, with the "off" months being patron-exclusive art of the characters and side characters from the game! I will also post screenshots of the game. That way, you as supporters will still be getting exclusive Lavender County related goodies every month, but it allows us a bit more time to work on script and polish up the actual game updates. This will also ease a lot of the stress off me, as I'm currently working a "real job" on top of working on the game. It means less cramming and it means I can really ensure updates are published feeling finished. I'm really excited about this, and I think it'll be a lot of fun to have a bunch of art to go along with the game to flesh it out.

As it stands, August 1, supporters will get the first of three patron-exclusive art pieces of one of the Lavender County characters. The remaining two will be posted throughout the month, and on September 1, David's Day One route will be posted. October 1 will be art, November 1 will be a route, and so on. I may also be throwing in some art here and there, if I get the time!

More than anything, I wanna thank you all for the kind words we got on the last journal. I was really scared coming out and being like "hey I think I need to slow this down a bit" because I never want to feel like I'm just, idk, taking people's money. Seeing that folks wanna support it just the same feels so good. I hope you all continue to enjoy what we have to offer. We've got the whole game planned out, it's just about getting it done! Your support helps make that happen. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the kindness and support so far.

Lastly: I don't THINK Itchio's recent horrible decision making will affect us. Lavender County doesn't contain anything that's banned, nor did I plan for anything banned. Scavenger MIGHT be taken down. I don't know yet. It all depends on how nitpicky they are about their themes. If it is, I'll just upload it offsite. I'm not really worried about Itchio as it's really just a host site (albeit, the donations have been helpful). I don't see it affecting us at all as long as Patreon/Subscribestar don't follow in these draconian policies.
