Dude you should do disaster videos. The way you documented the US particle accelerator, would do so well with massive disasters especially. Or even just construction and or engineering videos. Just a thought.

It will have to be a gradual and long process... that will risc to be annulled by the House or the Senate every year, just like the SSC. Why should you remove the importance of the military? Your citizens deserve housing, healthcare, education and childcare without having to risk their lives for a cause, they might not even feel is just. I'm not trying to lecture anyone. I am from Denmark, and my country has participated in many military operations, that turned out to have no justification.
