Chapter 2 Cover comparison!

I've started working on the new chapter 2! Some familiar bits here and there, especially with the first 3 pages, but everything following that in the first act will be mostly different than what you saw before.

I'll be sharing completed pages as I complete them unlike before where you only got batches. Way too slow of updates for you guys. Stay tuned for more updates!

Future comic ideas

The future comics I have in mind are the following

All gods must die: An M-rated bronze age action-adventure fantasy about a cunning zealot who teams with a god-denying deity planning to end the reign of leaders of the ancient world who claim to be gods.

Fritz the Bounty hunter: An episodic gag/action fantasy comic strip series about a manic Goblin and her mild mannered human mage husband as they go on a handful of wacky adventures hunting the weirdest criminals of the land.

Chrono apprentice: Action adventure fantasy about a teenage cat creature seeking to restore her home that was destroyed by an organization of time wizards. But to succeed, she must learn from the most infamous of time wizards.

Wild Rust: M rated Sci-fi competitive sports comic. A frustrated 37-year-old art teacher with a lifelong dream of robot fighting finally gets his chance in the underground scene. Armed with a low-tier battle robot and guided by an eccentric gambling-addicted matchmaker, he dives into dangerous illegal fights, driven purely by his love of competition.

Yaya: An episodic gag/action fantasy comic strip. Anton, a Thirteen-year-old accidentally becomes the master of Yaya, a mischievous 3,000-year-old djinn whose sole purpose is to destroy other evil djinn. Together they face the dangerous world of djinn, all while Anton gets to know his unpredictable new companion.

Like I said in the previous post, these will update much slower since this page is mostly focused on Ray Fox. But depending on what happens in the future, who knows, if you guys like one of these stories a lot more than expected, there might be more focus and faster updates.

Chapter 1 reboot finishing very soon

I apologize for the lack of updates, everyone, I've been working super hard on getting this completed. Admittedly this has taken me 3x longer than I expected. But the bright side is, completion is right around the corner. By next week, chapter one will be available to read for the public, and for you guys, it'll be just a few days.

After I complete this, the way I update will be changed to how webcomics are typically updated. As much as I like to give everyone big updates for a serialized story, its just not feasible to do this alone. Until I have a confirmed team, hopefully in the near future, I can't update the way I want to. So shortly after Chapter 1 is completed, I'll start almost immediately on the new Chapter 2, and I'll update it one page a week. The downside is that this means that Chapter 7 will likely not come out until another year (or maybe even 2) because of this reboot decision. But who knows, something might change in the future can drastically change my production.

I also have plans for other comic stories that will update much slower than Ray Fox but nonetheless, more variety for you guys. I'll share those comic ideas with you in my next post for patrons.

The more support this page gets, the easier it is for me to produce content for you all.

With that being said, as always I appreciate all your support. Even if I always sound like a broken record every time, lol. You guys are the reason Ray Fox is still alive. And I'm praying that it'll truly pay off one day as it reaches more people. I truly believe this story is special and even if I don't have support, I'll still work on this comic one way or another.

Chapter 1 Reignited WIP Full

Happy Memorial Day everyone! So here's the full comic. Now some of you might be asking, why not just post the final 16 pages like said before? While I was finishing them up, I realized that there were some loose ends in the story that I had to tweak. Some which required me to redraw or completely re-frame a scene or dialogue.

for those that don't want to go through the entire thing to see what's changed, here are the scenes I've changed. Although I do recommend going through the whole thing since I've changed dialogue here and there. But here are the big things that are new;

+New Prologue that I thought was more befitting for the chapter the story's lore as a whole.
- Removed Ray and Liz being at the cafe surveilling Randell, the Boar.
+ Replaced by taking the 2 back to the original draft of the script. Which may seem very familiar to some of you who've remember the original scene with Ray and Liz at their apartment. I did this because I felt like Ray's goals weren't unified and it made a new character briefly very important in the 2nd act. So I figured it was better to bring Randel back to being a random Meta and keeping Ray's goals focused on Morales from the very beginning.
+/- I replaced Morales just having a stroll with his Metas to having a press conference. Originally, it seemed random and pointless so have an objective for both Morales and Ray makes that chapter more cohesive for me.
+/- Changed Liz's stance on Ray going out to fight Halberd. This change was actually inspired by a facetious comment by a user here named Gally who joked about Liz encouraging her brother to put himself in danger lol. The truth is, this has bothered me since the original, but I've avoided changing this because I wanted 2 characters to be on different sides. But I realized that Jak is the one that's on the other side, so now I got a much better scene where Liz is more in character. This also lead to changing some of Liz's dialogue in previous scenes.

As I said on twitter, I am very pleased with the end result, I did so many rewriting and drawing since last year just to make sure everything is just right and I think I got something that's pretty solid. I really enjoy sharing my thought process with you guys. I do in part to also help inspiring writers so they don't have the same issues.

I plan to get inking very soon after I do 1 or 2 test comics to figure out how Im going to render this comic. Hopefully it only takes me a little over a month to finish. because I'm ready to move on to Chapter 2 and 3 and I believe those chapters won't take me nearly as long.

Thanks for being patient everyone, I apologize for taking so long. here's some more snippets of what's to come. The next update will be the WIP of the entire comic. I've made a lot of changes to older pages so I figured it'd be appropriate to send everything at once.

Within the next couple days for sure! As always, thanks for the patience. This has been doozy for sure lol. Inking the comic should take me way less time than drawing it.
