You all will be the first to see the whole completed comic before everyone else, hopefully a week from now.

Oh ok I see so it's not really even about his powers totally, it's just furry racism i guess lol. Makes sense though, a fox wouldn't be able to do much against a rhino unless he could melt steel beams

And if you really wanna get technical, I bet it is incredibly difficult to hide remarkable genetic abnormalities when getting tested. Even if Ray wanted to hide his powers, they'll find out something is really weird about him from a simple blood test. And in universe, if you've noticed, Foxes are not desirable in Morales' MMD. Usually animals like big dogs cats, rhinos etc are in the force. So even if Ray could hide his powers and somehow get through testing, he can not be an officer even if he wanted. The only way Ray could help anyone is to be a vigilante.

And not only a criminal, one that could blow everyone up with a tiny mistake. Neo-Mutants are rare so who would want to take that risk? Thankfully the cooky S.O.S exists lol.

My question is, is the reason Ray didn't just go down the legitimate path to being a meta officer still the fact that he's a "rogue" neo-mutant? I mean, what would have happened if he never became the Blaze and just showed up one day. Would they have arrested him?
