Thanks for stopping by. I finally finished the Mercedes story this month. I thought I'd be able to start the next one at the beginning of the month when I wasn't too busy with work and I was even drawing a small piece of Ashley, but I was suddenly sent out on a business trip in the middle of the month and didn't get back until last Monday, so I ended up having to just about finish the one I had on hand. But, I have to say, Japan is really beautiful at the moment, and the cherry blossoms are officially in full bloom, so it's better to go on an errand than to stay at home and draw!

Anyway take the drawings first! It's the end of the month and move fast! And there's this pretty long chapter I wrote down below.

So, to update you on the last story, some thugs went into the church's frontline hospital, killed a lot of wounded soldiers, raped Mercedes, who was serving as a healing sage, and then brutally beheaded her. Historians even believe that the Mercedes's murder was one of the triggers for the later overthrow of imperial tyranny. Because of her noble sacrifice and the awakening of the people's sense of revolt, Mercedes was posthumously recognized as a martyr in later ages and was buried in a secret church cemetery.
