Hello Everyone.

I brought you Bernadetta's Wrong Turn for this month. It is unfinished because I was extremely busy recently—in fact, I just got off the train from a business trip when I posted my Twitter earlier today. I also found my respiratory system quite fragile these days, even some garlic in the dinner could trigger constant coughing. I don't know if it is the colder weather or some residual after the Covid earlier this year, but I'm not in good shape as well so 13 pages is all I can do for you now. There should be about three more pages to conclude this story, but I think the plot is rather good and interesting this time.

本月的故事是关于贝尔娜提塔的。不过还差2-3页才能完成的样子。因为这个月我出差很多，特别忙，加上变天导致呼吸道不舒服（不知道是不是早先新冠导致的后遗症），总之现在的13页就是本月能搞定的部分了。故事本身还是挺有意思的，希望大家能喜欢：

This tragic story of Bernadetta's Wrong Turn happened right after the Battle of Garreg Mach, after the empire's army defeated the defense force. Bernadetta Von Varley flees the battlefield successfully and finds a small barn on an old farm to hide herself, all should be fine until a bunch of young vagabonds. They were young and short, weak in force even than Bernadetta, who had been trained in an officer's school despite her frail look. However, it is Bernadetta's timid nature that decides her fate - she is more scared than these young lads when one of the boys pulls out a pocket knife. If she used some trained battle skills, she would easily take over the situation. But she didn't put up any resistance, only tried to run and hide again. Except this time she paid the ultimate price for her cowardice.

贝尔娜提塔在大教堂被帝国袭击后，成功地逃出了战场保住了性命。她幸运地找到了一个偏僻的旧农场，躲在农场的谷仓里，计划之后再逃向远方。但没想到的是，这个谷仓是当地的一群小流氓的秘密基地——说是小流氓，其实就是一群没人管的想当山大王的野孩子。他们年龄大多比贝尔娜提塔小，个子比她矮，力气也小。贝尔娜提塔虽然也很柔弱，但毕竟是士官学校毕业的，理论上对付这几个刚刚发育的小孩不成问题，但她的性格实在太怯懦了——当其中一个小屁孩掏出一把折叠刀对着她的时候，她便吓得屁滚尿流，只能本能地想着逃跑了——遗憾的是，这次她失败了，一切的原因都要怪她自己做出的决定。

I'll leave the details for you to read from the drawings. As for the character, I personally am not a big fan of Bernie, especially during the early school period when she just overreacts to anything. I know it is for a comical-comedy reason but I just found her annoying in the beginning. So for this part of her character, I think the story I made this time is quite fitting if a bad ending must be made for her.

具体的细节现在就不用详细说明了，请看作品本身就够了。说说贝尔娜提塔这个角色吧，我整体来说不太喜欢这个角色，尤其是学校时期的早期——她的形象太动漫太喜剧化了，对任何人都胆战心惊，对所有事情都过度反应。虽然我也知道这是节目效果的问题，但本月故事的结局，绝对是适用于那种性格的贝尔娜提塔的。
