Wow, I'm really late watching this! But I dont think it was mentioned, but the lady in waiting pretending to be Loulan actually peed herself during that scene. (It's very hard to notice. I had to rewatch it a couple of times to see it). Poor girl was absolutely terrified, being interrogated like that and she had no idea why.

2025-08-03 18:48:54 +0000 UTCI don't know if anyone in the comments already explained but regarding Lahan: In the first season it was explained that Lakan adopted a son of his brother as his own to be his heir. This is Lahan. So technically, Lahan is Lakan's nephew and therefore Maomao's cousin. So with the adoption, Lahan is now both Maomao's cousin and adoptive brother. That's also why he's so similar to Lakan - it's family resemblance.

2025-08-03 18:12:41 +0000 UTC19:11 Maomao's "father" (Luomen) is her great uncle, not her father. Her actual father is Lakan, the military strategist. Even if you contrived to have Luomen be the father of the girl in question (which he isn't), it would not be a sibling of Maomao.
