[BONUS 3D ANIMATIC] WIP Demon Catgirl & Maid Buddy Dump

\/\/\/ DOWNLOAD ANIMATIC IN ATTACHMENTS BELOW \/\/\/

Work-in-progress animatic. A demon catgirl desperately needs to poop, but her maid coworker Beatrix is already taking a shit in the only bathroom. After nearly crapping her pants, she convinces Beatrix to share the toilet with her, ...at the same time. Messy awkwardness ensues.

This is intended to be a 3D/2D hybrid animation with 3D backgrounds and 2D characters, like the old Gorillaz videos or the 2000s CN City bumpers. The 3D models in this animatic are merely there as guides for the 2D character drawings that would populate the final animation. As such, the characters would be drawn in my normal art style, just imposed onto these backgrounds.

This is a side project I started a few months ago, but haven't made much progress on in a while. I decided to post in just in case the Outhouse animation doesn't get finished this month, ...but even if it does get released this month, I felt like showing off this audio since its been collecting dust for ages.

Above are some screenshots of the animatic, but you can download the full thing below. Also above are the design-sheets for the two characters.

You might notice that they look a little odd, and slightly out of my art style. That's because the poses are based on the 3D model that I used in the 3D animatic. I did this so that the model sheet would be very accurate regarding where certain details should be placed on the 3D model. Ultimately the model is just a guide though, and the drawings in the final animation would be a lot looser, and closer to my normal way of drawing things.

I used Blender, which is a free program for Windows/Mac/Linux. The furniture and stuff are free models from Sketchfab. I purchased the character-models for like 5 bucks, and modified the textures so they'd be easier to see.

This is looking great so far but quick question, do you use an app for the 3d models?

Yeah, I have an affinity for that style. That being said, I probably wouldn't use it again, as its more time-consuming than I expected, haha.

Biz

Oddly nostalgic idea in style. I'm for it
