Hear ye! Hear ye! It's time for a Weekly Update! And for the first time ever, the presentation of our official project progress tracker or as I'm calling it: The Countdown.
Every week starting this one, I'll post an updated Countdown as the one above, just so everyone knows which projects are being worked on in each of the categories and how much time remains before the full storybook release.
As you can see we will be using colored counters for months and weeks remaining, and every passing week as I post the Weekly Update, I'll remove a counter from the weeks track in each of the projects. If no weeks counters remain in the project track then a month counter is removed instead and the weeks track is refreshed. Once neither month nor week counters remain, well ... that can only mean it's time for sweet, sweet RELEASE!
Why am I doing things this way? Well because I literally calculated how much work on each of the projects I can do on a weekly basis and thus based on the run length of each project I also know how many four week "months" are required for each individual storybook.
Anyway, once this ball starts rolling I believe we'll achieve a relatively constant monthly release as the projected deadlines are set up to be staggered across several months instead of simultaneous releases. Furthermore as each of these projects are released, the open slot will then be taken by a new project with its own production cycle and the process repeats.
Wow. Are you bored of all this math and stuff yet? I'm sorry about that. But I really wanted to expand on how we were going to be keeping track of three parallel projects. From now on, you'll be able to tell at a glance how much time remains for each release. Sounds good? I sure hope so!
On other news, these couple of weeks have been quite crazy on my end.
Came home from vacation. House was flooded due to a burst water pipe. Had to move house. Moved into a new house. Wife started some heavy renovations. And let me tell you, it's not easy to work on sexy art when you have workers running around you smashing walls and drilling holes. I felt like a teenager again alt+tabbing away from "adult" content every time someone came close. Not to mention having to box up the computer several days to prevent it from sucking in the fine dust that floats everywhere when you are living in a construction site.
Regardless, as the dust settles (literally) things will go back to normal and production can get back on track again, so I reckon next week we should be talking about the Patreon Special. So stay tuned for a quick poll as we decide what special treat we want to whip up this month!
That's all for now, agents. As usual, let me know your thoughts in the comments or DMs through the secret channels.
Thank you and have a wonderful weekend! <3
