Weekly Update [12-31-21] December Specials!

Happy New Year’s Eve, Agents! Today is the last day of this scary yet wonderful 2021. Despite its low points it’s been one hell of a ride. But most importantly, I’ve got to meet you. It is in the eye of the storm that The Hex got started about 10 months ago, and look at us now. We currently stand 3k strong as a community devoted to quality erotic combat art.

It is also through your constant feedback, DMs and comments that I’ve slowly found a workflow, delivery method and Patreon tier system that (mostly?) works. We’ll continue to figure it out and fine tune it all as we stride onwards, but that’s exactly why this December was so important.

As you might remember this month has been insanity on my end when it comes to my day job, and we were forced to take a break from our regular content posting schedule. But! I also took this time to gather your feedback in a super poll that I’ve already compiled and analyzed in the hopes of drafting a better plan for January 2022! We’ll get back to this in a minute.

The other important thing we did this month was a couple of custom special images made based on your choices when it comes to characters, settings and action! One of them is in full view above. The other is a bit too hot for Patreon, but I’ll link both of them in a neat bundle down below!

Who would have thought that we’d see yet ANOTHER epic shot of Sadie and Angelys’ intense cage fight? Meanwhile back in the Agency’s HQ, Maya is giving Luna a “private lesson” of her own. Man, these spies get all the fun it seems.

Now on to mission-critical matters!

It was actually pleasantly surprised that your concerns and wishes mirrored my concerns and wishes. You see, one of the things that bothered me the most was actually posting speed/frequency. It felt like it took too long for any given story to wrap up, and especially with a story such as Operation: Flying Dutchman, which had its twists and turns. Spreading the posts across several weeks meant it was easy to lose track of what was going on.

The second important subject is the ‘spice’ level of the posting. Although I ended up splitting the sexy fighting such as in OPFD from the actual sex-fighting as in Private Lesson, into two parallel series, if you remember, the Prologue had both components built in.

And what do you know. I’m actually a big fan of sexual combat myself. In other words, sex fights are meant to be a key ingredient in my stories because … I like it when my submission/wrestling/grappling/punching/kicking devolves into bouts of pure debauchery and sexual domination. Therefore! Expect that to be the pattern going forward!

So! How is this going to work when it comes to our Patreon Exclusive Content starting this January? Well, in an effort to solve both matters of interest (the post frequencyand the sexual content), here is the plan.

Starting this January, I’ll focus on crafting SINGLEseries that contains the full mix of ingredients that define the Hex: Science fiction spy thriller featuring femme fatales, erotic close quarters combat that devolve (evolve?) into bouts of explicit sexual supremacy.

Expect posts every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and each post may consist of 1 or 2 images each. Each post will be categorized as T1, T2 or T3 individually.

T1 posts, may be sexy in nature, but will mostly serve to present characters, story setup and context. They will be the mildest of the three categories and will also be published outside of Patreon as promotional material.

T2 posts, will feature erotic combat in the same level as the OPFD and contain critical story beats.

T3 posts, will be of the explicit sexual variety in the same level as Private Lesson.

This will of course align with Patreon support tiers, as your level will coincide with which posts you will gain access to.

Another key component is, that by doing it this way, I plan to wrap up a FULL STORY by the end of the month (instead of taking 2-3 months). Which also means, that by the end of month T3 supporters will get the fully compiled Storybook version before it goes on sale.

In other words, T3 supporters essentially pre-order the Storybook.

I feel this system will allow us to move along the story and visit a wider variety of settings/characters while delivering a more consistent value per investment made on the part of you, the supporters.

But yes, although it feels like a big change, I think it’s more of a horizontal shift than a vertical one. If anything, it optimizes the content flow and sets very specific deadlines and milestones to reach within a set timeframe.

Of course, this first run is an experiment, so we’ll have to see how it turns out and it’s going to be up to you to decide how much faith you put in this system. Be sure to revise your pledge tiers in any case if you want to play it safe!
