Great reaction! I think Elizabeth did a good job of playing a young FBI agent out of her element and on her own. And this is my favorite performance from Jeremy. I know enough about him irl to know that he actually fits this role perfectly. Taylor Sheridan has made a lot of great stuff but this is my favorite of his body of work. I give it 5/5💜

2024-05-08 16:15:20 +0000 UTCNative Americans control their own law agencies. Only the FBI can go onto reservations, but only help if the native police need it. Obviously the feds can go onto the reservations if they need to, but natives keep track of their missing people and all the records. Natives understandably aren't very friendly with white folks. Not all, but definitely the older ones. That's why the US flag was upside down at the beginning when he pulled onto the reservation

2023-11-04 19:09:46 +0000 UTCDances With Wolves is an amazing film that is criminally overlooked by reactors for some reason. Maybe it's fear of it not aging well, not being politically correct? If so, I don't get it. Costner was made an honorary member of the Sioux because of that movie. That's what the natives thought of it.

2023-11-03 21:47:09 +0000 UTCJane was basically a rookie agent. Not that most FBI agents would be that useful in that situation but her inexperience meant she wasn't as jaded. She actually cared. That's why when the medical examiner couldn't put murder as cause of death she stayed. It also illustrated the lack of concern by the FBI in sending a rookie. In this case it worked in the natives' favor. A more experienced agent would likely have just handed the case over to the native police and been done with it. Given their lack of officers it likely would never have been solved.

2023-10-30 19:48:17 +0000 UTCThe kid in the beginning had a BB gun which isn't really a real gun and I don't know the Romanian term for them but its basically just a spring and piston that hits a really small like 3.5mm metal ball bearing and is only strong enough to/only really used to kill birds and shoot beer cans. It hurts like hell to get hit by one but ones like that aren't even powerful enough to break the skin so they're fairly safe as long as you don't hit someone in the eye or ear. As far as being too young, it really depends on the kid, I grew up in a family business and was around adults 24/7 because I was homeschooled until high school so I matured really quickly (in most ways) and at his age I had already killed a few deer for meat and countless raccoons, opossums, skunks, etc to protect our chickens but I also know kids his age that shouldn't even have a nerf gun because of how immature they are so it just depends.

2023-10-30 06:42:56 +0000 UTCIn 1850 the US government passed a law that US citizens could sell Indian scalps to the US government for $5($197.30 in 2023) in an attempt to commit mass genocide of native Americans and take there lands. You could literally kill a native American and mutilate the body in front of any law enforcement and it was perfectly legal. This barbaric and savage act of legal mass murder and torture finally came to an end in 1911.

2023-10-28 19:49:51 +0000 UTCNOT ONCE HAS THE US GOVERNMENT FULFILLED THEIR END OF AN AGREEMENT IN ALL OF US HISTORY. What was done to black slaves in US doesn't compare to the genocide that has happened in US history and up to the present to native American tribes.
Michael Aalgaard
2023-10-28 19:37:48 +0000 UTCThe native Americans were and are treated like dirt. To give you an idea on what I'm talking about out of all native American tribes that had agreements with the US government how many times did the US fulfill their end of the agreement without changing the deal in their favor at the last moment or blatantly not doing their part of the agreement? And I don't mean 1 tribe but all tribes throughout US history?

2023-10-28 19:25:37 +0000 UTC5 out of 5. I had this movie on my list for what I thought would be a good reaction worthy movie. Im not very knowledgeable about how Native Americans are treated here in the US, but I can see after watching this that the situation is obviously not good. I guess thats why watching this is a good thing, its educational. Thanks for doing this one!!

2023-10-28 08:43:51 +0000 UTCThat was great. It was nice to hear about your hunting dad and living in the mountains. I totally changed my mind about you reacting to Dances With Wolves. I thought it would be too much of a slog to sit through but I think you would enjoy it (even if it doesn't win a poll).
