I think all the rockys are great in their own ways. 1 and 2 definitely are the more humble and gritty movies, but all of them have their charm. 3 and especially 4 are iconic for the bad guys. 5 is my least favorite , and I really liked Rocky Balboa. In my humble opinion, Rocky 4 was the best and the first movie to ever make me cry in the theatre was Rocky 4 so I hope you do include it in your Rocky journey. Skip 5 and end with film "Rocky Balboa." as the final Rocky. This puts you right in front of Creed 1.
