I was expecting more a beat em up. Try not to worry too much about the negative people. There are tons of classic movies that everyone I know loves but I think is mid, and vice versa. So what if you don't like a movie or a song someone elses loves. Don't be afraid that say what you believe. I think you will find more people will respect you for that. You are rigth to your opinion as we are here to watch your reaction and we will agree to some and some things we may not. Not up to anyone else to say what you are suppose to feel regarding a movie or things you don't like or like. Most common things regarding these older movies is that they don't age well at all, so watching them for the very first time will be hard to get that nostaligic feeling. I got some beloved films ive watched in my youth that i used to love. Seen them lately and i can say they are absolutly rubbish, all from different effects to dialogs or things don't add up anymore and similar. Even for me whom is a huge movie fan i got sometimes difficult to watch older movies as i know they don't live up to a standard expectation. I believe if you do get some negative feedback from someone regarding a older movie, it is mostly because these people forgotten how the movie really was executed and it doesnt live up to their more advanced expections and what they remembered it was.

2023-08-21 17:27:58 +0000 UTCRocky didn't win because of a split decision, so Apollo retains the title. So thrilled you loved the movie. Butkus the dog was actually Stallone's dog in real life. So happy to hear you want to continue the franchise. Please watch at least the next two, the fourth is great also. The one thing I have noticed watching different reactions of Rocky is every single female reactor goes absolutely insane watching the fight. They usually don't know or care anything about boxing but want Rocky to basically kill Apollo. "Kick his ribs, kick his liver",so violent, yet so fun to watch. Anyways thank you for the excellent reaction.

Both in the ring and in the real world. Winning comes later! Also a very sweet love story. I love this movie. So deserved winning the Oscar for best picture in 76. I really hope she likes this. 5 out of 5 all day!
