Why this comic took so long, Astraea?
The easy answer is that Lea is lazy and she needs a week of rest for each 5 renders. The long and more complex answer is that two big things happened mid-production. First, was discovered how to use a map modding tool that gave me more freedom with the scenario and made some scenes like the town growth easier than before. The second one, that I finally learned a specific shader for Koi, which you might notice if you compare this comic to my older works.
Both of these things, while vastly improved the quality of the comic, slowed down production and made me go back and redo some takes... which is something that to me becomes very demotivating. But now I can say I'm satisfied with the final result.
Again, an apologize to all of you for how long this took to be completed, and a BIG thanks to the commissioner for the infinite patience with me producing this comic so slowly. In any case, hope you guys enjoy!
