Info work in progress 16/10/2022

Hello everyone, today's info could be titled:

The universe slaps Alek in the face.

But let's proceed in order.

-Info Big Release:

At the moment I'm working on the kiosk (Serindra the muscular elf, do you remember her?)

I could have finished the development of the kiosk in a week but the need arose to introduce a new conversation system.

I'd like you players to have the opportunity to talk interactively with anyone.

However, the conversation system that exists at the moment is too complex to be implemented in all characters.

Hence the need to create a simpler conversation system.

-Study combat and conversation mode:

Let's consider 2 factors:

-Factor 1:

The combat system that will be implemented.

-Factor 2:

The simple conversation system I talked about above.

I thought:

Why not join them?

Why not give the player the opportunity to choose?

And these choices would be:

Option 1:

Talk to the futa character to get to know her better).

(This will let you know if you can have a friendship, a love, or a rivalry.)

Option 2:

Verbal combat.

I love it, and I had thought of collecting even the most famous insults from various films.

(This is based on insults, this mode will allow you to lower a rival's crest or the protagonist's crest.)

Option 3:

Combat with hand-to-hand weapons.

(When words have no effect and the opponent only knows the way of violence.)

The system I am sketching combines words and violence in a single modality.

I think it's a wonderful thing, and I miss it in the gaming experiences I do.

It goes without saying that this implementation has slowed down the schedule a bit, however November 27 is still far away and there should be no problems.

However, remember that this date is only indicative and may change.

-Info second video game:

I was wrong, my dudes.

I was wrong, and some of your concerns were well-founded.

I am a motivated and determined person, but sometimes I overestimate myself.

I can't actually work on 2 games together.

Rereading today some words I wrote about my ability to work on multiple projects together makes me say: Poor fool!

Wow, a creator who admits he was wrong?

Yes I know, I'm great in this too! LoL

But joking aside, I still consider brilliant the writing of the second game.

BUT IT IS NOT THIS DAY!

For now, we are fighting to make Sex & Fantasy something interesting, and then we will evaluate it in the future.

A hug.

Alek.

Hi my friend, first of all, I am happy that you have been following me for so long. The reasons that led you to sign up only now are very sensible, no one knew me at the time, and it would have been risky. Yes, during my journey I tried to split my efforts on different fronts, like comics for example. The second video game was just an idea (A nice idea). But I'm glad I decided to stop it. However, I would like to justify myself a little: I started this path only with poor drawing skills, but otherwise, I didn't have programming skills, storytelling skills, or self-employment management and I didn't have clear ideas about what my supporters wanted from me. I'll give you a brief summary of how my head worked during these periods: 1) I start the journey with 0 knowledge. 2) I practice with 3 stupid games 3) I think I'm ready and propose a gigantic game (S&F) 4) I realize that I was not ready yet but I am also improving period after period. 5) The desire to create a new project from 0 is born by taking advantage of the things learned. 6) I propose another game. 7) Damn! In the meantime I have already created a lot of S&F content, should I abandon everything? 8) There comes the sense of guilt to abandoning my child. 9) I send to fuck everything and decide to dedicate myself to him. That said, I am a person who learns from their mistakes, and luckily I've made several mistakes, all in good faith though. I am a very ambitious person, but as you say, I should focus my ambition on one project. And the inclusion of these new values gave me a new desire to do, and the possibility of structuring something from 0 in my current game. So my dude, I hope I haven't bored you. I can assure you that today I have much clearer ideas. ;)

Alek, I gotta give you some hard love here, mate. To preface, I used to sub to you under a different account, so I've been here since Sorority. I didn't immediately resub after I created this account because paying for promise after promise was a waste of money I could spend on a completed game on Steam. Providing context: the last major S&F release was in September 2021 (v.5). The one before that, April 2021 (v.4). It'll be November 2022, 15 months since the last major release when v.6 comes out, if it comes out on time at all. The minor releases offset this slightly, but a couple of scenes a year plus after the last release doesn't earn much leeway. I acknowledge there have been other factors, but you yourself said you overestimate yourself, as evidenced by your attempt to develop two games at once. There is obviously a Star Citizen-esque scope creep setting in. So many of your updates are about some new fangled system. These may end up being mind- and nut-blowing, but pick your battles. Lots of developers introduce new systems later that require starting a new save, and that wouldn't ruffle any feathers because this game has no real grind to lose. I love your content, your energy and your passion, but it really looks like someone needs to remind you to reign it in, get the updates out and then look to the next (reasonable) goal, even if some of your ideas need to be saved for your next game. After all, this is a game that most are playing one handed, and probably not with their dominant one.
