Now today's poll is for Strange old world, and the topic is simple: When should Harry get together with Lily?
Apart from their incestuous relationship, another big barrier for their pairing is, of course, Lily's marital status. James is still her husband, and is actually a decent man who definitely doesn't deserve being cucked.
He will anyway, but that's beside the point.
So I want to know if you lot want this to be a morally fucked-up affair worse that even Tonks one, with James still being alive, and Harry and Lily engaging behind his back. Or do you want him to be dead and make this more....acceptable, I guess? Well, as acceptable as incest could be anyway.
I already have plans for both versions, and I may just end up going with the one I like most in the end, regardless of the Poll's outcome....unless the results are extremely one-way, with 90-10 ratio or something.
Still, I haven't decided yet, thus this poll.

I think if James were to die, that with how we see Lily act with Harry that it would actually make a whole lot of sense that James' death would only cause her to gravitate towards Harry even more due to James' loss. Plus let's be real how many of the James survived fics do we have where he is actually not a jerk. I think due to this I kind of want him to get to be a kick-ass wizard and go out in a blaze of glory so to speak.
