Considering her powers... I'm thinking a bit party-popper-style bit-gag. Pull the edges, some stuff'd pop out, but for now, she's in no position to do anything but hold it in her mouth...

I love her exuberant energy you captured, little does she know what's in store for her ;) Personally, my idea is less a gag as it is possibly more of a prank cooked up by someone in the X-men brain trust. Given her penchant for bubblegum, I think maybe someone swapped out her usual for a super strong sticky version that burst all over her lips after a big bubble.
