What's Next - Update blog (February)

Hi everyone! It's time for another “What's next” update blog, where I talk about what you can expect to see in February here on fanbox.

Fan Art

Now at the end of January, I feel like I have managed to write as much as I wanted or even more, but I have to admit that I did not get as many fan arts done as I would have liked. My intention to draw more fan arts won't change in February, as it's still going to be a goal to get out more fan arts each month than I have managed previously.

Other than drawing the usual fun and awesome crack couples (KonKushi, TsuDon, NaruKure etc), I'm also going to draw some characters that I don't draw as often as well. They will be mainly used in a new series of fan arts that I started in January, called the “Rookie Twelve Secrets”. These fan arts won't belong to a comic or anything, as they will just follow the same theme and have the same title for said fan art. Expect to see a Tenten, Ino, Sakura and Hinata fan art from the rookie twelve, following that theme, in February or March. As for the other members of the rookie twelve, it all depends on if I can pair them up with someone that will make for an interesting fan art. Shikamaru is probably the most likely one that I will draw, out of the other guys. I would pair him up with Yoshino or Shizune.

Nothing has changed when it comes to the comic “Minato's Wedding Surprise”, as the next time you see anything new for that comic here on fanbox, the comic will be finished. In other words, once I have completed it, I will post the full comic here on fanbox.

*Update*

I forgot to mention that I've been planning for a long time to draw the girls in the "sinful" fan fiction story, who will visit the Yamanaka's summer home, wearing swimsuits/bikinis. That's also something that might be done this month.

Fan Fiction

The Strawhats Other Monkey

In January I posted three chapters for this new fan fiction story. Although, most of the contents of those chapters were taken from the old scrapped One Piece chapters of “Teacher and Student”. Once Konohamaru leaves Yotsuba Islands and starts his adventure for real, everything that I write after that point, will be completely new.

I'm currently deciding on how much longer I want to write about Kushina's side story. I'm thinking it might be more interesting if her story takes place “off-screen” until she meets Konohamaru. Then she can re-tell the events of what she has been up to on the Grand Line. I'm thinking this is the best way to speed up the story telling a little bit, so that Konohamaru and whoever he sails with, can leave the East Blue and head into the Grand Line as well, without it taking too long to happen.

The next one or two chapters will finish up the “Yotsuba Islands” arc, then Konohamaru will head to a new island in the East Blue, together with his future crew of sailors. There will be a minimum of one new chapter for this story this month, but I would be very surprised if I don't post more than that. Expect something around 2-3 new chapters this month.

Sinful Tales of Konoha

If memory serves me right, this story also got three new chapters this month. That was about the same amount that I expected to post. I'm currently at the point where I'm starting to run out of old scenes, and future chapters will be completely new. That means that I won't be able to post as many 20,000 words chapters each month. The goal is to at least post one new chapter for this story every month, but once again, I would be surprised if I didn't post more than that. The next chapters are going to cover the visit to the Yamanaka's summer home, where most of the main characters are going to be during a weekend. I'm also going to cover Hinata and Hiruzen's training in Konoha during that same weekend, which will all be covered in a separate chapter, only focusing on them. Expect to see a new chapter sooner rather than later :).

A New Naruto Story

As mentioned in the previous update blog, and the latest chapter of the Sinful story, I am still trying to come up with an interesting premise for a new Naruto fan fiction story. I want this story to be different from the others in many ways, except for pairings, while also being interesting enough to keep my interest in the story high. That way I won't get bored writing it, and that should result in more chapters for you guys to read. Hopefully I will have the first chapter of this story ready for you guys to read in February, or in March at the very latest.
