Earlier that night.. (Mini comic #373)

More horror art, getting to depicting big moments in the series I have yet to really touch on, this being Charlie’s end, and the puppet’s origin

Simple idea for this comic, drawing out the minigame of Charlie and William, how I always imagined it or what I took away. After Charlie gets locked out of the party, I’d imagine she walk off along side the building looking for another entrance, seeing she’s been through them before with her dad. Though finding those locked too she stops upon hearing a car drive up, and being excited that her uncle is here! She knows for sure he has the keys to the building, or at the very least could drive her home, let her sit in his car. It truly makes me sad to think how happy Charlie may of been to see him, running up to him for a hug, drenched in the rain, just wanting to be warm.

Only for William to make the choice to off here now and then, away from the front of the building, nobody saw him there, leaving her to perish next to the trash and drive off. It’s evil

I had a lot of fun drawing this one out, first off giving game Charlie finally a full human design, I really like what I ended up with, it stands out. I don’t know what possessed me to make the lighting and scene so clear in the first panel but I’m very proud of it.

While with William, he’s just a shape, he’s a monster, he’s inhuman, and I wanted to show that in the most simple of ways, he just stands out. Doesn’t belong, while Charlie fits right in she’s solid, while William is almost like a child’s drawing. An outline, he isn’t supposed to be here. I think the effect carries hopefully,, anyway again loved how this one turned out and I hope you like this comic too! 🩵💜

⭐️BTW I’m back from my busy weekend, I had to take Monday basically off too cause I was so exhausted 😭 but I had fun! I am back to drawing though, I’ll probably have an update post ready too tomorrow, along with hopefully two new comics but we’ll see! Anyway I’m back!! Hopefully the rest of my month isn’t too hectic got lots to do 😤🙏🏾
