NOW I’ll be honest, I haven’t personally touched the talk around princess quest even in comic form mostly cause people seem to still argue about it, and what it means. Never wanna step on any toes after all, like I’m an artist not a theorist (despite obviously I do have my own thoughts and theories on the series as a whole)

BUT I think I finally found out a way to make a comic about princess quest! The idea that Vanessa and Gregory are playing the arcade together, Gregory is probably just showing Vanessa his high score and what not. Vanessa though feels strongly about princess quest, connected to it even.. she can’t shake this feeling the game is about her in some way…

While Gregory, has no idea what she’s yapping about, to him it’s just an arcade game, not only that, to him, Vanessa is NOTHING like a princess. Princesses are kind, gentle, are good at heart, etc and Gregory knows damn well, least in his POV and being a lil kid, Vanessa is none of those things. Vanessa is the lady who has tried killing him before so she’s probably much more like an evil queen.

Obviously Vanessa is just stunned like damn okay kid BAHAH they give such strong sibling energy to me, dudes gonna be grounded after that one. Silly lil comic I wanted to do! Cause I really do like princess quest, I also had a lot of fun doing the background in the first panel, getting more fun with these,, anyway! I hope you enjoy this comic 🩵💜
