Secrets of the Mimic (mini comic #315)

So Steelwool’s new game trailer dropped, and it’s for a game called “The secret of the mimic” WHICH IS HUGE. Just having the new antagonist of the series outright named in a game title, especially when I’m not sure how many folks know the mimic well outside of memes, so I can’t wait to see this game. Can’t wait to see what it’s about or what it reveals to us, etc I’m so here for this game
There isn’t much I can draw for it yet though, besides the puppet/mimic in the trailer, I’ll definitely draw more once we either have more information or when the game drops
SO FOR NOW imma make my little jokes, SO it is to be believed the game takes place in 1979 because that year shows up for a second in the trailer, with that in mind.. Michael would have technically been alive during this games events, so I thought it be funny if Michael ALREADY knows the mimic upon seeing them. The mimic is unclear, but as a child Michael caught the mimic changing into its costume scaring it in the process BAHA
This is more of a silly comic today BUT I actually do like how this comic came out, there’s a real vibe to the second panel too. I tried to make it as circusy as I could with simple design choices and I think it works! Also a smaller Michael design compared to his teen look, before Michael got all moody. Pff maybe the mimic has something to do with that, BTW I’m not saying Michael and the mimic will meet in this new game, tbh the series I’m general likes to keep Michael hidden, BUT it’s funny they could of technically of met, ANYWAYY I hope you enjoy this comic!! 🩵💜
