I think while Ross technically didn't cheat, Rachel is completely justified in feeling betrayed by what he did. I think it made her realize that he wasn't this "Mr. Nice Guy" that he tries to portray himself as and she was blinded by her love for him. It's refreshing to see your take, because I was watching a couple react to this show and they defended or sided with Ross on every little thing and it was frustrating to watch.
