Hey all.
The last week has been quite fruitful regarding features that I could not fit into the last update. I've been working on the new movement system, and it's pretty much nearly finished. She can even pick things up on the way to her destination now - Pretty futuristic! It's quite buggy at the moment, so I'll show it off in next progress update.
Speaking of showing off, the attached video is a preview of a new feature I'm experimenting with; Mouthplay! It's very basic right now, and the only things implemented are:
- Stopping the target object (you in most cases) from escaping the mouth
- Stopping the target from being swallowed
- Swallowing the target object
I think it's a very cool demonstration regardless - The logic is done in GtsScript, too! The script interfaces with the Animator to blend & smooth animations in real time.
Along with these things, I've also been fixing bugs & refactoring weirdly-implemented systems as I encounter them. That's never a bad thing!
