Progress Update!

Hello everybody!!

Over the past week, I've been working on player movement -- Specifically, the new 'tumbling' mechanic. You can walk up against sloped walls and angle down with them to better rub / punch them, and you'll slide down if you lose your footing! Instead of ragdolling when tripping over, you'll instead tumble. (You will still ragdoll on death.)
I'm hoping this will stop the game from freezing when the player trips while in the stomach.

In addition to touching up the player's movement, I've also been working on various collision-related systems. Unity's physics system is really not made for this type of project (frustratingly so), so I've spent the better half of the past week trying to fix various bugs related to collision detection. I think I've got it pretty locked down now!

I've also been giving the custom scripting language more love - A few bug fixes here and there, along with a few new handy features. Ideally, you'll be able to do anything in my custom scripting language that you can do in C# (albeit, it's waaay slower.)

Lastly, I want to thank you all for being so patient - I'm still inundated with work / life issues, but I still find time (no matter how little) to work on this project every day. And I mean every day - I don't take breaks :P

The game is absolutely amazing. Ofc it still has a few bugs but it's I think the only game with these kinds of mechanics and that's why I started supporting you today
