Hello! This last week has brought us stability updates, FPS gains, AI improvements and more!
One of the major pains in the last week has been working on the sliding mechanic, which I have slated to be in the next update. I've gotten it in a pretty stable state, but it still requires some polishing.
Player collision has been getting some (much needed) touch-ups as well, to combat jittery gameplay and related bugs. It's turning out pretty good!
The game has always lacked in the performance department, which was a really important thing for adding AI to even be considered. Over the last week, I've been able to introduce several fixes and rework multiple systems which has resulted in the average FPS between the last update and this one dramatically improving. Hurrah!
I've yet to add roaming nodes to the other levels, so that's still a todo.
Overall, this is probably the biggest (non-visual) update yet, and there's still so much to do.
