I can see him sharing that with Alice to help calm her about the problems during the test. Its also probably why he told Alice not to worry when they couldn't see through the scrying shield the dungeon threw up.

2026-02-12 14:36:18 +0000 UTCThat sounds like something that Arakil would have needed to create as the god of magic, at least the seed of it. However with him trapped and nobody else having the talent in magic to surpass him it likely was never realized. Also given how the runic system seems to be able to do pretty much everything at this point you if you wanted to make it more accessible you would need to find a way to decrease the complexity in the rooms but in doing so if you want to keep the potential in the language even for the simplified version you would need to have some way to add that complexity back in some other way or fashion or you make it so that the simplified version can only do certain things and that list could be short or could be vast but it still would only be able to do certain things. With that being the case any true enthusiast would likely go right back to the original language.

2026-02-12 09:47:15 +0000 UTCYou know, I have been wondering, the way they are using Glyphs seems kinda bad? I mean, I can kind of understand why Arakil would teach Lily the way he does, but it feels like, in general, that was also the ONLY way Glyphs were used during his time. And yet, we have already seen that its possible to draw Glyphs that draw Glyphs. So why does no one seem to have created a "Glyph Operating System"? I mean, you could basically say that "reality" is the hardware, and Glyphs are the Machine Language. Hell, even Divine Keys are kind of like IP addresses. So, why does it not seem like anyone has created an "Glyph OS" that would let someone program Glyphs with a simplified System that doesn't demand of them that they have the handwriting of a printer? Of course, there is always the chance that there was something like that in the past, but seeing how Lily's wand was a "common teaching tool" it doesn't feel that way. I've been thinking about this, because it would be pretty cool if Lily could come up with something like that and make Glyphs more accessible.
