2025-04-26 15:02:00 +0000 UTCI listened to the audio-only version of this, it stuck in my mind, and then a week or two later I watched most of The Show About The Show, some episodes of Getting Stoned with Caveh and one of Caveh’s movies (The Sheik and I). One of the results is that I feel cynical now: I think in the background of most people’s minds, with the ideas about morality that we absorb passively as we go through life, there’s the idea that lies are destructive to the fabric of human relationships (and, by extension, human life in general). But now I can’t help but wonder if unchecked truth is actually way more destructive.
