But Stannis was screaming: "stand and find damn you!" he preferred to die than retreat and be seen as defeated. Is that a strong mentality for a warrior or an impulsive one? It's like he has the mentality of: "i came into this world kicking, screaming and covered in blood. That's how i want to leave it" (that was a quote from a game btw)
