On the Bookshelf [2.0] (1080p HD)

Since I now can work with a better GPU — and I didn’t like the first version that much — I wanted to revisit the bookshelf-animation before going on with the kitchen. This is an older project, so I decided to make the new version public in HD (in a while).

The following points have changed:

– All frames were rendered with 1024 samples and slightly denoised using Neat Video. Now there is almost no noise and flickering (the original render looked atrocious in the background).

– The 4K version is now qualitatively more different from the HD version.
– Neeko has fur in the first shot now.
– The burp has been re-animated and is a little longer and louder.
– The sound mix has been revised (more digesting sounds and mumbling).
– The lighting has been improved overall.
– I tried to emulate the look of an anamorphic lens.
– The decor of the room and the shelf is a bit more coherent.
