My first Vore animation.
… yeah, why the first? Some videos have been released already?
Well, more than a year ago, on April 25, I announced to animate a scene — At that time I had a large part of the actual animation already finished, but still nothing except some glimpses exported (some LQ Gifs that you will also find on FA). So it acutally was the first project I ever started with this character.
Now, why did this take so long?
I wanted it to be as good as possible. The render times per frame were already astronomically high from the beginning (especially because of the fur), but I wanted to avoid that the image ends up noisy or too muddy (because of any noise reduction). So I kept putting it off and passing the time with smaller projects or stills.
Every time I went back to the main animation, I learned and tried new things. I was unhappy with the lighting setup, furniture or individual textures for a long time. At some point I re-rendered the entire scene, with an alpha mask only exposing the sofa, in order to completely replace the cover fabric, so to speak.
At some point I baked the entire interior of the scene, adding lights and shadows to the textures so that all the elements in the background rendered in a few seconds and the GPU could focus on Riley and the inner of her mouth.
For the stomach, it took an extremely long time because I didn't know how to decently illuminate such an organ from the inside. In the end, I also just faked the reflections over textures. That isn’t exactly realstic but it looks fine.
I spentmore time with the sound editing and the music — and I’m quite happy about the result — but if you want to completely delve into the vore-experience (I mean I do fell the same), there is also an extra version without music.
I’ll have to be more clever with these projects in the future. But at least I was able to optimize my workflow and my files. For now I will concentrate on shorter snippets again.
Best
