Hypnosis v.1.4.6 Devlog

Summary

Hypnosis v.1.4.6 is the smaller update I've been talking about as I've been working on alongside Episode 15. It accomplishes a lot I've wanted to do for several years now, and that's to make a path back in Episode 10 where the MC confronts Laura and avoids being hypnotized by her.

I'll go more into my motivation behind it in my next Monthly Update post, but that's the quick summary. This post is meant to describe the update without too many spoilers, while the next post will be meant for after people have finished the update.

As most of the update involves a path from earlier in the game, who is it meant for? 

Anyone looking for a new path to play, but especially those who missed out the scenes in Laura's bath tub where the MC hooks up with Daphne for the first time, and those who like the idea of getting one up on Laura in Episode 11.

This path is now the recommended route, so the easiest way to access it is to play Episode 10 and follow the walkthrough guide. The new content begins after meeting up with Brittany at the bar.

Devlog

• Finished the in-game walkthrough to include Episode 14 and the Broken Watch Branch

• Added missing paths for people not on Beth, Grace, Jenn, or Brittany’s paths previously to join later, whether because they missed them by accident or decided to give them a chance later

• Total length of the update is around 4,500 lines of code. For comparison, the second half of episode 14 was around 5,000.

• Includes over 280 images and 10 new animations

• It also fixes multiple issues with Episode 14, including all the errors reported and several paths needing to be finetuned

• Although I replayed the update and multiple paths after looking for errors or inconsistencies in dialogue, I'm sure several exist, so please report any here, on the download post, or on Discord

• Added some content to the end of Episode 14, namely the option for a little cumflation with Grace throughout the night which will lead into the next day

• Remade the renders for the scene in Episode 10 with Grace, Daphne, and Brittany at the bar, as Grace and Daphne's outfits are different from the scene before and after, as I made a mistake where they are wearing their outfits from the previous day. Plus, the scene is now extended significantly.
