Proof of Life #277: Small request among more HC3 news.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, how is it going in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? I've been pretty busy lately, what's with the release of the game on Steam, but I took a short break over the weekend where I worked less than usual, so I feel more refreshed now.

---First of all, I feel a bit ashamed about it, but I have a small request for those who have bought the game on Steam. If you have the time and the possibility to do so, might I ask you to leave a review when you feel like it? I've been told Steam won't promote games internally unless they have at least ten reviews (outside of reviews left by those who've received the game for free), and I currently have four. The language deosn't matter however, and if you want to leave a negative review, it's fine too. I welcome all feedback, good and bad. Thank you for your attention!---

Onto HC3's development now. As I said, I've been a bit busy with the Steam release and have taken things a bit easier over the weekend, so things haven't progressed as fast as they should have.

Still, I've done most of the story segment leading to Cyanna's first scene, which I've decided will be quite a complex scene to make. It will involve not only Cyanna and Ulrod, but Alys, Eddie, another female soldier and three men from the militia. That means an eight people scene.

Due to the sheer complexity in terms of sprites, animations, and sound design, it will probably be a bit shorter than your average scene, but it'll be good to bring back Alys and the gang. Some people have been asking for them after all. The premise of that scene will be... quite peculiar, and I worry that people might not like it (or maybe I'm just overthinking things), but I suppose the contents of a scene matter more than the reason why it started.

By the way, the extra scene is almost certainly going to be Rose with Meredith and the Duke, and maybe Stenia too but I'm not 100% sure yet. The main downside, however, will be that the extra scene and the first Rose scene will be almost back to back.

This last story segment has required a few new maps and some entirely new outfits for Cyanna, Ulrod, Leto, etc... as well as some entirely new NPC outfits, but I quite like the way it turned out. I hope you will too~

I unfortunately don't have a release date yet, sorry.
