Proof of Life #275: Things are changing at the Duke's manor...

I took Monday off-ish (I had a lot of bugfix to do) and then started coming up with the plot for this update, and now that I've figured out what I want to do with it, I'm back to development! Also, I've struggled like crazy while setting up part.2 for the Steam release on the 25.06. For Steam, you will have the choice to either start [part.1] or [part.2] when launching the game.
Back to update 21. I'm currently halfway done with the first scene, which will be Rose's. It's not an especially meaningful scene in terms of story, but I've added/will add a few spicy things in there that I know you guys will like. Then, I will probably have two Cyanna scenes back to back, so 1 Rose scene and 2 Cyanna for Update 21, which means the next main quest update will have two Rose scenes.
The extra scene will include either Rose&Meredith or Cyanna&Alys, but I'm not 100% sure yet. It could be something else entirely. I had another idea with a side character, but I'll keep it for another update. I'll probably do a poll about it at some point.
This update will see the story move into the last segment, setting up the stage for the game to branch into its 3 endings (or 4, if we count the 2 different NTR endings) based on Leto's personality, determined by the choices you guys have made throughout the game.
While the focus will of course be on Cyanna and Rose, we will also see a bit of Leto, of his determination to help Rose while dealing with his own inner struggles. By the way, since he has been made aware of what's going on between the Duke and his maids in the last main quest (the beach mansion), I've decided to give the manor's maids more... revealing outfits, as well as other things. You can see it in the screenshot, while they "clean" the Duke's room.

Tbh, it wouldn't be Cyanna and all the soldiers girls, but Cyanna&AlysxUlrod, at least for what I have in mind right now. Most of the freeroams are listed, but it's possible I might have forgotten a few of them in the beginning as I wasn't being as thorough with the walkthrough as now I don't think a toggle would be possible though, as it would be a logistical nightmare to implement that^^ Sorry

2025-06-12 11:31:08 +0000 UTCHonestly, I don't prefer any scene. I'll gladly do what people wish to see.^^ About the Duke, the idea is that he wanted to go further (no panties at all times), but Rose stopped him, yet sill allowed the rest.

2025-06-12 11:28:12 +0000 UTCHonestly, either a Cyanna and all the soldier girls or Rose with the maids would be pretty hot. Though I don't know if the militia men know of the Duke and Rose's shenanigans as I'm still playing through part 1. Wish there was a way to see all the free roam events though. Maybe like a toggle after we finish the game perhaps. Especially since I feel like some of them are not listed in the guide like Teresa and the Soldier behind the blacksmith early on in the story.

Although I think you could do like last time, make a poll and the winning scene will be the extra one in update 21, and then the other scene is for another update, please, I know you might prefer Rose's scenes, but since the beginning of the game I've been waiting for a scene of Cyanna with Alys and the other soldier girls :(, when I read the PoL title I imagined that finally the duke gave the order to the maids to work in the mansion completely naked, but I guess that only happened in NTR final

In that it added an unneeded complexity to the game? Or do you think it works as you intended? Do you think it'll be a feature you'll repeat going into HC4? And will there be a HC4? I assume so, but I take nothing for granted. Not to pull focus from HC3 (which remains the magnum opus!), but do you have any ideas for HC4 (if it's planned) and are you excited by the idea of a new project?
