CHANGES TO IOS POLICY THAT MIGHT EFFECT YOUR PATRONAGE
Added 2024-10-30 10:01:31 +0000 UTCHi guys, so Patreon will be forced from November onward to comply to a 30% marked up apple tax for those of you who use IOS apps. I've opted out of it until November 2025 at which point the change will be forced onto all creators by Patreon.
What this means for my patrons: Currently your charges won't be effected by the 30% mark up as I've opted out but it means new subscriptions for IOS users can't be made through the IOS version of the app. You will still be able to subscribe through the Patreon website itself and then view everything via the app once you've subscribed. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience but this is a change I haven't consented to and it's one I'm not yet sure how best to handle so for now this is the best solution I could come up with.
