2023-11-12 16:54:30 +0000 UTC View PostIt's been 3 months since I decided to quit my job and pursue art as a full-time career. It's been...challenging? Different? Sobering? We'll go with all of the above. While I feel as though I have not provided enough to you guys, I also feel I have not done enough to build at my foundation as an artist and have not risen up to the challenge of this new path in life. While I have made adoptables which have largely carried me through these past three months, I feel as though I need to be making and contributing more. I still have owed artand I feel as though my Patreon has left much to be desired. On top of that I understand a lot of non-Patrons don't like Patreon and don't want to join. So I think it's time we remedy all my concerns.
First off I want to thank each and everyone one of you. from the the Favorites, comments, monetary support, and those who just chat with me on Discord. I would not be anything without you and I am truly Thankful for you.
I have opened up a SubscribeStar and a Ko-Fi for those who want to support me but don't have or want a Patreon. I do plan on eventually starting my own website but I don't have the time money or resources to do that at this time.
I've not been satisfied with my tiers for awhile now but it's taken me a long time to figure out what to do about them. For the amount of work I post, I just dropped stuff in the middle tier and left it at that while neglecting the upper tiers. I want to change it up to give you guys the most for your support so the new tiers will be as follows and will be the same across all three platforms.
-Support Tier $5usd-Complete works a week in advance before I post them
-WIP Tier $10usd-Completed Works+Works in progress
-PSD Tier $15usd-Completed Works, WIPs, and you will get the PSDs of my completed works.
The sketch Tier is going away. I simply have not been able to keep up. Those who have supported this tier will get your sketches. You can reach out to me here or on Discord and we'll get them sorted out. Since that's going away, I am going to run an experiment, For One Month Only (October 2023), I will offer the "Adoptable Tier" across Patreon, SubscribeStar and Ko-Fi For $200(the amount for an autobuy) you will get a custom adoptable. What makes this different from the adoptables I already post is these will be full character sheets with FrontView, Rear View, and Profile. This is an experimental Tier. It will only be available for the month of October 2023 and there will only be three spots across the three websites (9 in total). If it does well I might open it back up in the future but first and foremost I have to be able to do the work so no promises on that front. I will still be making regular adopts, That hasn't changed.
Current Projects/Content
For those of you who have been following me on Discord, the current project I'm working on is the comic, "Heart of Gold," the story of Kimmie and Rice. After that has been completed, I plan on Continuing work on C.A.R.D.S. After sorting out that plot hole I think I have a more solid story to tell with that. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about Agent Mustang. Once C.A.R.D.S. has been finished I will begin making Dragon Knight which is the biggest thing I've ever made. I do aim on Physical releases of C.A.R.D.S. and Dragon Knight but those are far off in the future so I don't have details just yet.
Sets
Yes I am still making sets. I current have one in progress. I realize that it's been awhile and after looking at what I make I haven't been satisfied with what I make. On top of That I've found that LuLu tends to not like adult content. So I've decided that I will start posting my Sets on GumRoad (I'll post that link when I have it set up) that way I can keep LuLu focus on the books I want to make.

2023-06-03 16:45:15 +0000 UTC View PostHello everyone! big news on my end. As the title suggests, I put in my two weeks notice at my job. To put it shortly, my confidence in the job was shaken when management pulled me aside and demoted me. I told them I couldn't take that pay cut So I initially put in my notice then. After about a day my boss came back in and told me i could go work for used cars at a different location. I'd still be getting a pay cut but it'd only be for a dollar less rather than $4.50. So I took that job hoping to keep my income steady but as I worked I found i couldn't commit. I wasn't happy adjusting to everything and on top of that I felt I couldn't believe in management. So I found myself growing more and more unhappy and stressed. Finally this morning I didn't want to come into work. I got myself to dress and get on the road but as I drove up I grew more and more depressed. finally i caught my boss and told him it wasn't going to work out. I wasn't satisfied with anything and couldn't push myself any further. I love cars but can't keep to their standards. Nor do I want to. I'm closing that chapter of my life now. In two weeks I will be on art full-time.
That said I'm looking at Patreon through a microscope. I will be changing up and simplifying tiers in the near future. I have also been looking at the content i produce or lack thereof. What Patreon really needs is focus. I've noticed that Dragon Knight contrasts heavily with The Room351 Anthology So I will stop posting Dragon Knight content here since the majority of you prefer big boobs and the like. I will find a separate space to post Dragon Knight content so don't worry about missing it. I just want to minimize the tonal whiplash between fantasy knight and big boob furs. Since this is the case. My Patreon will focus on the Room 351 content, big boob art, fanart, and big boob fanart. Right now I'm working on "Heart of Gold" so you can expect the first few pages of that to appear here in the near future. Dragon Knight is also being worked on. Unlike Heart of Gold I will release the first few chapters for free before hopefully crowdfunding the rest. That's the plan at least and all plans are subject to change. I will also be getting back to sets since I will be having more time.
Adoptables and Patreon-exclusive Adoptables are still very much in the cards. Since I'm updating everyone I will take care to explain the difference. My standard adoptables are my practice pieces. I sell them as adoptables to prevent myself from making hundreds of OCs (an issue many of you are aware of). The Patreon-exclusive adoptables will have a bit more detail put in them and as a patron you will get some input to their designs. Since Adoptables are treading the line of Patreon's TOS they won't be posted here. instead I will host them through my Picarto via a Patreons-only stream announcement.
Finally, Commissions. It's time, everyone. Time for me to clear the slate. in two weeks I will finally have time to clear the backlog. As some of you have seen, I've already reached out to you via Discord earlier today. This is the reason why. I will be clearing the backlog. as for future comms. I will announce when I am open. For those of you in the comm tier Reach out to me here or on discord to discuss them.

I was talking in the discord earlier today and it occurred to me to make a community post about what I've been up to. As you may have already heard, Elon Musk bought Twitter and a lot of people aren't happy about it. I could not care less about the drama and politics of the situation but I do care about people leaving because I'm in the business of making art and less people mean less eyes.
Earlier in the year when he first made his bid. I started working on building a website for a domain I secured. I've been working on and off for the better part of the year. Now that Musk owns Twitter and the News is losing its collective mind, building this website has taken a bigger priority. Which brings me back to the title of this post. The website will basically be a gallery for my completed works with links to everywhere else. As for here, I will begin posting my would be Twitter posts here as free posts with higher resolution and pieces remaining for patrons
In short. There will be way more activity here in the immediate future and I will soon have a professional website that will be my firver art home.

The teller spoke to the new trainee when the trainee looked up and his jaw dropped. Approaching the bank was a beautiful Doberman woman covered in black tight-fitting clothing.
"Oh yes!" said the teller, "Here comes my favorite customer!"
The doors flung open and in she walked, strutting pass shocked shocked customers. her chest swung in counterbalance to her body, her fur and hair shinned liked oil, a trait common among dobermen. the poor trainee was almost hypnotized. the clacking of her heels rang like an angelic metronome in his ears. Before he knew what hit him she was at the desk, standing right in front of him. He couldn't help but stare and the tan areas on her chest and how the seemed to form a heart shape. She picked a deposit slip out of the holder and began writing down her information. His mind wandered before his mentor spoke up.
"Hello Ms. Vasquez! How are you today?" Not to be one-uped the trainee spoke.
"¡Hola señorita Vásquez! ¿Cómo está hoy?" She stopped writing on her deposit slip and raised an eyebrow. He could tell she wasn't impressed with his Google Spanish. She looked back to his mentor and placed her handbag on the counter. She reached in and began counting. after she got to ten she placed a stack of cash on the counter finally stopping after thirteen stacks. She spoke to his mentor.
"Should be thirteen grand." He made one stack and ran it through the cash counter.
"Thirteen-thousand and one-hundred dollars. Looks like a a couple hundreds got stuck together."
"I'll take the hundred and deposit the rest." The trainee was dumbfounded at how casual she was about the amount.
"Jesus, what do you do?" he asked under staggered breath trying not to alert the rest of the lobby.
"I'm a stripper." She said cocking her head in his direction. In hindsight it made a lot of sense, that said she had to be really good at her job. The trainee pressed his luck.
"Oh...w-where at?"
She stopped organizing her wallet and looked at him.
"None of your business." She said sharply. The words cut at him and he knew she was getting annoyed at his staring and prying questions of someone he just met. His mentor couldn't help but grin, finding this encounter to be very entertaining.
She finished packing her things and the mentor gave her her receipt. She looked it over before deciding it was in order, packed it into her handback, and walked away shortly after. The trainee couldn't help but stare at her shapely posterior.
"God, she got it all!" he thought. No sooner as he thought it his mentor spoke under his breath,
"She's got a great ass." The two men nodded, "I have been trying to figure out where she worked for the past six months but she's good at hiding where. The mentor tapped at his trainee's shoulder.
"Listen, before I close it out, take a look." The trainee peered over to the computer screen."
"Valerie Vasquez. Cute name." Then he looked down at her total deposits. "JESUS CHRIST!" He was a bit louder this time. His mentor nodded in agreement.
"How does she have that much?"
"I don't know but I do know she ain't hurting for anything."
"Wow, what I would to have her..." the trianee didn't finish his thoughts remembering that he was at work. the two men went back to their jobs while across the lobby their coworker had observed the whole ordeal.
She sighed, "Idiots..." and went back to work.
This was an idea I had last night. Hope it's entertaining to you as it I thought it was.

I've been looking for ways to expand my horizons, and figured A good way to get started would be to launch some physical merch. I've tried redbubble out a few times and they make really good quality prints so I'm giving them a try. Now you can have Drea on your wall in print quality!
If you've been following my Twitter recently you may have seen these six lovely ladies.
They're characters in a video game idea I had called C.A.R.D.S. (Covert. Action. Recon. Defense. Service). The game itself is a side scrolling shoot'em up akin to Metal Slug where the player takes control of Agent Mustang of the Red Spades on a mission to a mysterious island on the pacific to investigate reports of supernatural happenings.
That's all I have for now. aside from one or two more posts regarding the concept. then it's back to everything else.
Quick update on what's going on. Due to a *fellow employee* at work I have been saddled with an extra work load. When that workload is vehicle service and maintenance it's very labor-intensive. To further explain, this employee is as unreliable as they come. He continuously calls in sick, and when he is at work he's slow to work and will leave his post. The problem is he don't have any new applicants so until we can get a new worker hired, we're stuck with him and I'm stuck covering his shifts. This has been going on since I returned to work after covid. Needless to say, I've been extra tired and slow(er) to post. But I will catch up with everyone and everything. Just giving a heads up.

2022-01-01 04:26:32 +0000 UTC View PostYesterday I was feeling oddly fatigued. Today I was fighting to keep breakfast down. so I went out to get a test. It came back positive. So I am ordered to quarantine for the next ten days.
I feel alright for the most part. I have aches, chills, and a few bad coughs. I'm confident I'll make a full recovery.
on the plus side, I got time to catch up, so maybe this was a blessing in disguise.
I don't know, just trying to make the best of a bad situation.
I'll keep you posted if anything changes.

This is probably the worst thing I tell myself during my creative process. Every time I do A piece with a lot of potential gets stuck on the metaphorical back burner and almost never sees completion. I'm currently sitting on a pile of art, stories, and commissions that stretches back almost a decade because I lost confidence in my own ability as I was working on them. This is my perhaps my greatest fault at least, as an artist. What's worse is that I often find myself drifting into negative thoughts because, "I could've created something great back in my 20s" but didn't because I let my own manufactured pressure get to me.
What I've been trying to do lately is identify the process of how I get to this position in the first place. I've found that I've actually been having doubts as soon as I put pencil to paper. As such I'll start posting "WIPs" to friends, or on Twitter, or on Discord in order to gauge reactions. The problem with this is two-fold. On one hand, I rob the viewer of a genuine reaction or surprise. On the other hand If I don't get the reaction I was hoping for or critique, it can send me down the trail of, "you were never good enough." This is unfair for many reasons. All this does is tell me that I've let viewers and algorithms have power over me and stunt my growth instead of building confidence and skill in my own work.
I honestly don't know how I'm going to rectify all this. I think I have a few options. What comes of it, only time will tell. I just wanted to write this down as a cautionary tale. Focus on building yourself and don't let exterior influences prevent you from growing.
The time will never be perfect. The water will never be just right. The weather will never be ideal. You have to get your ideas out and let them succeed or fail by their own merit. If they succeed, great! If they fail, then learn from it and try again."

Today I'm here to alert you about updates to my Patreon on tiers. I've been trying to get Patreon to be more rewarding to those of you who choose to support me an my art. So without beating 'round the bush, here are the new tiers and their rewards
"Base" tier $3-Access to all completed works "Middle" tier $5=Access to all completed works -WIPs -Character Polls
"High" tier $12-Access to all completed works -WIPs -Character Polls -Set WIPs -Sets
"BONUS" tier $35 (only five slots available)-All the perks of "High" tier -A single character B&W sketch Commission (Examples Included above)

As for the content provided...
In my never-ending pursuit to make Patreon better I'm changing the tiers in an attempt to give you guys more in the form of more content, more structure, and more interaction.
For structure I figure I will plan the months out on a week to week basis, for example:
Week 1-Will focus on content or updates from my comic, Dragon Knight.
Week 2-Will focus on content or updates from my comic, Room 351 (I admit it will mostly be art and written pieces as most of my focus will be on Dragon Knight's development and eventual physical release).
Week 3-Will focus on fanart I make polls on and you vote for. If I have time I'll draw some bonus fanart.
Week 4-Will focus on sets, their development, content, and release. (Those that subscribe to "High" or "BONUS" tier will get the completed sets as a reward for their support.
While those weeks only account for 28 days I'm taking the remaining two to three days as well as Sundays off to rest.
I will note, I will do my best to meet these goals, if for any reason I'm not able to make a post I will make a post informing you ahead of time.

So two years ago I made this image https://www.deviantart.com/neme303/art/Bad-Doggy-814470749 I didn't have any characterization for her and just let her slide down to the memory hole. Fast forward to last week when I posted this sketch on my Twitter https://twitter.com/Neme303/status/1422519913382662144 I came back to it this morning and changed the hair. Then as I was laying the flats I noticed she looked familiar. I had inadvertently redrawn the character from two years ago.
I guess I just have a weakness for straight cut bob hair and glasses.
I still don't have much in the characterization but I do have a potential idea for her. But for now just enjoy the character update.
I'm going to try something in an effort to gain more followers. I have been resistant to doing fanart in the past because I didn't want to get stuck in a rut of constant fan art and not enough time to do my own work.
So I figured If I did a few pieces here and there I might be able to get the attention of new patrons. On top of that I think giving everyone a vote would encourage more engagement.
So this first poll is a kind of proof of concept. I'm going to pick so options and you can vote on them. After this, I'm going to give you guys the option to suggest character based off of a topic I select.
Example: I say give suggestions for a Superhero>You list any of them>I pick the top 5>then you guys vote>the winner gets drawn.

I've always liked superheroes but I admit I'm rather green. when it comes to history That said I've been seeing a number of superhero designs on Twitter lately so I decided to make a few of my own. This was a quick sketch i did yesterday while waiting for dinner to finish cooking.
I was looking for inspiration and happened upon the flag of South Korea. I immediately thought of Marvel's Captain America and made the flag colors the inspiration.
