What is a Nogle?

The vast majority of pets in game—with the exception of a few official Nogles—are created by the players! You can change all 200 bones of your Nogle by width, height, position, rotation, as well as by color. You can also choose how your Nogle acts, what its breed is called, what species it belongs to, the physical needs it will have, and even how rare it is. Nogles are your own creation to share, adopt, and love. Nogle's bodies can be changed in incredible ways- Your Nogle can truly be anything you want it to be.
What's the catch?
You have to selectively breed them to have that appearance, those traits, and for each of those bones to have the stats and coloration that you want them to have. Just like a designer pet breeder in real life, your job is to set out with an idea of what you want to create and then play the game raising and breeding generations of Nogles until you develop something truly unique. This truly gives you the ability to play with simulated evolution!
Do not fret however; as hard as this sounds, you can also trade, buy, sell, and adopt Nogles from other players, as well as cross breed your Nogles with those belonging to other players. This introduces your Nogle's family tree to the types of genes you are looking for and speeds up the process so you can continue to develop into the pet of your dreams. And if you're lucky, the Nogles you create could become the favorites of future players!
