HORROR MOVIE SUGGESTIONS 🫣😭🤣

May the universe have mercy on my soul, may my imagination calm the fuck down as I sleep after watching said movie, may your eardrums still be in healthy working order afterward xoxo

Suggest me the movie iconic horrid bc ya gal is clueless.

For scaredy cat context - I was scared of Scary Movie at age like what age 13? And I had nightmares for months about scarab’s eating my brain after watching the mummy around age 11 😂😂 SO THAT’s how this is gonna go my guys 😂🫣

I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a real scary movie before… think I tried at sleepovers as a kid but I’d be the one with eyes closed and ears blocked soooooo 🫶🫠

Love ya xoxo

American Werewolf in London. Great blend of comedy and legit horror, and won an award for groundbreaking special effects.

While I have watched a great many horrors and found numerous intriguing and entertaining, some really scary (and some plain disgusting) in addition to the ones I've mentioned (in 3 posts cause I can't work/remember to "shift + enter" instead of enter) - Poltergeist, Omen, The Exorcist, and Haunted - there are a few titles I remember in the next order: Friday the 13th, Halloween, Pet Sematary, Nightmare at the Elms Street, Cujo, Candyman. after those I really struggle to remember more names - and I don't mean to say they're bad films, while watching I was thoroughly impressed by many, but they just get less memorable after a while. But these next few cannot be missed either (even if for nothing else than great acting from real masters): The Ninth Gate (Johnny Depp, directed by Polanski) The Rite (Anthony Hopkins) Bram Stoker's Dracula (Hopkins, Keanu Reeves, Gary Oldman, Wynona Ryder, and featuring debuting in Hollywood Monica Belucci) Frankenstein (Robert De Niro) - to me still more a drama/thriller than horror, but it is the classic gothic horror story after all.

My favorite horror is the classic "Poltergeist". I also suggest not-so-well-received but very well watched "Haunted" with Liam Neeson. AND of course you can't go wrong with these classics:

Wrong turn hills have eyes 2006

Ever seen monsters inc? I got one of them little tanks in my apartment that gives me electricity, I need screams Geir

Jesse Weston

Silence of the Lambs! More of a thriller than a horror but still spooky and outstanding acting!

DanielHoworth

Absolutely down with all three!

Geir Jonsson

I'm aware of them, but I wouldn't suggest them as a first option. to get her feet wet.

Geir Jonsson

Jaws 1975 best starting mild until you're braver🤭

baz0348

Silent Hill, 2006 with Sean Bean and Radha Mitchell.

Scott Moore

Those are horror movies Geir

Jesse Weston

Be kind, Jesse, we all love you.

- Insidious - Sinister

Lol so no Hellraiser 1987, Event Horizon 1997 or the Thing 1982 on you then Dath Natascha? 😛😁😂

Pål Andreas Syverud

As Martin has suggested above, "Zombieland" is a horror with some gory but also very witty and wonderfully barmy moments. If you want something more gruesome but more profound and even moving, I can't think of better than recommending "Train to Busan".

Gary Slator

Wondrous! :D

A theatre near where I grew up played it every Friday night at midnight, I went many times.

Geir Jonsson

I recommend Child’s Play 1, &3. Part 2 is optional because it’s really similar to the first. The Chucky franchise would later get WAY OUT OF CONTROL! and they dropped the name “Child’s Play” for just: Chucky 🙃 Plot Twist! my real recommendation is for M3GAN! 😮 I hope she destroys Chucky and replaces him forever!!!! (because too much of one thing SUCKS!)

James Quinn

That’s not a horror movie, not in the strictest sense of horror movies… even though it’s in the name. However, it’s the ultimate CULT following movie, basically started and maintained the whole dressing up like characters and going to midnight showings with PROPS and rite of passage ceremonies, live performances running congruently with the show… audience participation. People devote their entire lives/ very existence to this! And as a movie, it’s kind of just an oddity with great music. Don’t dream it, BE IT ❤️

James Quinn

You could go in gently with one of the horror comedies like "Zombieland" - some gore, no significant psychological horror, fun story, and not too many genre references that you won't know.

Martin O'Nions

Scream

David Crabtree

Two priests, surely? 😁

Martin O'Nions

How about Rocky Horror Picture Show, it's absolutely terrifying. I would love to see you react to it although I understand that musicals must be copyright hell.

Geir Jonsson

No, but you might need a priest.

Geir Jonsson

Ohh I think Alien has been mentioned a few times by the YouTube community! 🫶😬

Natascha Summers

It’s like I want to watch one for the channel for entertainment purposes but also I’m terrified 😂 can’t you all atleast pretend a little bit that they are abit more mild so I can live in delulu land for abit longer 😂🫣😉

Natascha Summers

Oh no am I ACTUALLY gonna need therapy 😂😂

Natascha Summers

I almost hate to suggest it... The Exorcist.

Geir Jonsson

The Exorcist is as scary as anything I've ever seen.

Marty McKelvey

Gotta start with "Alien"
