Approaching a Crossroads

Some of you might be aware that Patreon is intending to force adult content creator ID verification soon, which means I have to provide photo ID to them along with a selfie to prove who I am. I think this is ridiculous but apparently their hands are tied by the card processors. 

I am concerned that the company carrying out these checks will not safely or ethically handle data like that, so I do not wish to provide it.

If any of you lovely lot have any ideas or preferences for how to deal with this feel free to chime in. The options I can see at the moment are:

1. Move platform elsewhere (substar, deviantart). However, who is to say that the other subscription services won't do the same next? 

2. Apply to downgrade the page to SFW and find another way to provide images to supporters, like a discord server.

3. Just forget about it all and go play Baldur's Gate 3.

I'm planning one more pict for this scene - after that I will probably do some more scene setting and slice-of-life picts.

Hello all, I'm happy to say I'm not dead and I have pretty much caught up with things!

Pausing Billing

I'm going to be pausing billing on here for a month. The reason being that I still haven't caught up on commissions and I won't be able to finish another pict before the end of the month. 

I really want to get on with this series but I would hate to sacrifice quality just to get something out in time for patreon. So no payments for you fine people until March 26th - and if I get something done in the meantime, you'll still see it first!

So I managed to get it done, and I'm quite pleased with the result! I hope you all like where this is going, it's not the end for this scene.

I'm going to be working on some commissions next - I'll share what I can with you when it's completed.

Potential Disruption

First of all, hello and thank you to all the newcomers and old guard who are supporting me on here!

Now, some bad news. I've had a household disaster which has made my normal work area unusable. This is going to be the case for about three weeks - I've got an alternate workstation set up but it's not ideal.

I'm going to try my best to get the next pict posted before the end of the month - if I don't manage to get it done then I'm going to pause billing for a month to be fair to everyone.

That being said, I'm loving doing this series and can't wait to create more, both for you and me. I'm going to push through this difficult time and keep on painting!

Encircled by the creatures powerful arms, how can one do anything but melt into them?

Update

Good news - I'm getting there with the next picture, it's about 80% done I reckon.

Of course, my plan was to have that completed two weeks ago and be on my way with the next, or maybe a Christmas special, but alas, two episodes of illness in one month and Christmas itself set me back.

Hopefully that will be enough of the problems and 2023 will be free and productive! I'm going to aim for two paintings a month - possibly experimenting with a more oldhammer art style.

It's awesome to have you all with me on this and I wish you all a happy new year and brilliant 2023!

The hive voxnet is a great place to arrange meet-ups, although it can be hard to verify the other user, always bring a weapon to be safe.
