Herrah sketches + height question
Added 2025-08-25 20:06:35 +0000 UTCI had done a few sketches to decide what I wanted to do for Herrah before, and I decided that i should do a few more as im figuring out how I want to add her into the comic.
I think I have her mostly figured out, even if her design will likely evolve as the comic continues. However I have 1 question that I want to ask my audience, how tall should Herrah be?
In the game she is very big, at least twice Hornet's height. Now I don't have to follow the game in this respect, but I can if I wish. The reason this is important however, outside of the usual nuances of having characters of different sizes interacting, is that her height will also decide her proportions. For those who remember, in page 7 hornet became "as big as mom!". Specifically, her boobs and butt grew to be as big as Herrah's, of which would seem bigger on her smaller body. I want to keep this line consistent with the rest of the story, which means that the taller Herrah is, the smaller her curves will seem on her body. Now at first I didn't have a problem with this. In fact it would be thematic for Herrah to be better proportioned given what I have planned for her part of the story. However I also know people will want to see Herrah with giant boobs, and if I am anything its a people pleaser. So if I make the two closer in height, it also means I will draw her curvier.
This is where the question part of this comes in. I want to know what you guys want to see. My first instinct is to make her taller and better proportioned, but I want to give you a chance to convince me if you think the alternative would be better. So let me know in the comments!

This would mean that initially, on the first page of Hornet's dream, Hornet would be 2.3 times shorter than her mother. However, Hornet's height has increased throughout the story, which we need to account for. The best picture to compare Hornet's height to another character in her most recent size is page 25 (https://www.deviantart.com/bouncygirllover609/art/Hornet-s-Dream-25-1235893279). When positioned next to Hornet on page 25, he is around half the size of Hornet. meaning, Hornet's now current height is 280 centimeters tall, the exact height I calculated Herrah's height to be. So if you wanted to do this mathematically, Herrah and Hornet would be the same height. However, I would like to see Herrah be taller as you suggest because I do like me some thicc Herrah, plus it would be Hornet's goal to surpass her both in thiccness and heigh both as her daughter and heiress to the queen. I think Head to Tit would best suit Herrah's height imo.
