Samus and the Golden Boombox page 1 complete!

I have a few things actually to say about this piece. First while writing the lyrics for the boombox, ive actually considered how the song would be sung. In fact, if I write lyrics thoughout the comic, I may as well try and complete the song that goes with it. Now to be fair I have never written a song before. Nor would I know how to write sheet music. So this song plan might not go through, and if it does it will likely not be good. But its a fun thing to think about, and its almost in theme if it turns out to be trashy.
Outside of that I had fun drawing Samus again, its been a while. I talked about this before but I wanted to focus on accuracy when working on the suits details. But what I can't remember is if I mentioned that I was going to use the original zero suit design. Because at first that was the plan, but at some point I forgot and when I detailed some of the suit I used the modern/other M design. In fact when this was just a single drawing of samus, I started the project with the idea of "hey, not a lot of people draw samus with the zero mission design anymore. Lets do that!" Its too late now of course to change it, but I guess what I'll do is draw the zero mission suit the next time I draw samus.
Regarding the boombox however, I ended up changing its design just a little. A lot of people tend to make up their own design for it, and so I did so too. But early on I wanted to try and make the box accurate to how it was in the videos. The design is still mostly based off them, really the big change is the round speakers instead of square ones.
