Added 2025-08-16 17:31:46 +0000 UTCAnother step has been made for the mini comic! Sadly Im not sure I will be able to complete all of them before my next semester begins, but I am at least getting closer.
I don't know if ive said this before, but the thing I would say I have the hardest time drawing is hair. Like I can do very simple and basic hair, and with enough time and effort I can make some really fun and either realistic or dramatic hair styles. But it is never easy. You would think that after so many times drawing samus that I would at least have an easy time drawing her hairstyle, but even now im not 100% happy with how im doing it. This also took a little longer to ink than I expected since I was making up a fair amount of the detail as I went along rather than sketching it first. Its something I will do to try and speed things up, but it also just creates this intimidating workspace that is not easy to draw under. Ive always said that its better to sketch things out since it looks better and saves time in the long run, but I think its about time I actually follow my own advice.
Outside of this I don't have too much to say in regards to making this piece. I suppose its a question of weather I can finish it before metroid prime 4 comes out.
