BTS Fake Love Behind The Scenes Reaction

Sorry guys here is the 2nd half of the bts fake love music video reaction we uploaded a few days ago

Comments

Have you guys had the snickers room explained yet? J-hope's fictional character in their storyline was abandoned by his mother at an amusement park. She gave him a snickers bar and told him to wait infront of a carousel and then never returned.

Ahhh so this MV is part of the overall storyline- that makes a lot of sense 😆 We will have to look into that and follow the story (Kirby)

They don't generally explain the song / MV in the behinds, its more about the making of the video. BUT in the case of the snickers, this is a part of j-hope's character / backstory from the alternate BU storyline. When you watch BTS music videos, in the description if it has a "BU content certified by Big Hit Entertainment", that means the video belongs in the Bangtan Universe, which is a storyline set in an alternate universe created through a webtoon (Save Me), various MV's, books that came out with the HYYH (The Most Beautiful Moment in Life) albums, blog posts, etc. If you want to get a run-down of the entire BU storyline, there are videos on YT by ARMY who have made explanation videos, or you can go down that rabbit hole slowly in parts. I think there are close to 30 MVs, trailers and teaser videos that make up the BU content. There was also a k-drama released in 2024, which is a dramatised series inspired by the BU, called Begins ≠ Youth. The BU was created at the start of the HYYH era and continues through all the eras after that, but not every song / MV references it. The BE album and singles released during 2020 and beyond are not part of the BU because the 2020 - 2021 releases were created during the pandemic and weren't planned. However, one of their Japanese songs Film Out, which was written for the Japanese OST for the movie Signal does have imagery that could tie into the BU although it isn't officially tagged as such.
