yeah their stories tend to focus more on the emotions and the conflict they bring within the characters rather than an intricate plot. Or at least most of the ones I've seen on this channel (so far).

2025-09-12 01:55:51 +0000 UTCNot much else to say... it was a very safe plot, with a highly standard structure, but that’s to be expected for this one. The important thing is that it was done with high production value, the acting was amazing, the pacing was good, there were nice cliffhangers, and overall a mature script, with a simple storyline that was enhanced by an interesting and intriguing setting (master–bodyguard who grew up together since childhood). I would have liked a more interesting close-up, IDK, maybe some kind of plot twist, because it felt somewhat bland. But I respect the formula, it was enjoyable after all. Koreans are masters of this format... telling an interesting story in such a short time. Even being so short, I prefer the series format to the movie one for these kinds of stories. They don’t really have a movie structure IMO.

2025-09-10 23:22:29 +0000 UTCIf you enjoyed the bodyguard/master romance trope, you could try you hand at Golden Blood (not the vampire one) from 2021 in your own time (or for patreon, either is good). While the acting in that one isn't a 10 out of 10, the story is really interesting and has a good twist to the romance trope. I love bodyguard romance, and both Where Your Eyes Linger and Golden Blood scratch that itch, just like KinnPorche did.
